What Would a Bostonian Have Put on Facebook as the Revolution Approached?

You are going to decide!  Together, we will analyze evidence from the past, in the forms of both artwork and published accounts, of key events in and around Boston at the beginning of the American Revolution.  After viewing all of the evidence, you will use it to illustrate the Facebook Wall, Profile, and Photos page of a person living in Boston at the time.  You get to decide the age, gender, and occupation of the person.  You even get to decide if the person is a Patriot or Loyalist!

How to Get Started

You will use this website as your home base as we analyze the primary sources together.  Follow the directions for Days 1, 2, and 3.  Sometimes you will be working on your own, sometimes in small groups, and sometimes we will work together as a whole class.
